I’m not in a booblehead kinda mood this morning (kinda trying to figure out whether to make an offer on what we saw yesterday). If there’s anybody who knows (and cares) what talking heads are on tap, please feel free to let us know. Otherwise, I advise you to spend the day getting ready for tonight’s True Blood.
I can’t say I really care ab out the bobbleheads, save for Fareed Zakaria who has a podcast that I can listen to when I actually have time or am awake. But, I do like your take on the talking dopes. I find the dopes infuriating but you make me laugh.
How was the house yesterday. It sounds as if you were pleased with it. A 20+ minute commute is pretty minor. It takes me more than that to get to work when I work in Brooklyn. The Bronx takes me an hour. And, there are 2 tolls involved.
Oh, it has a great deal of potential, but needs a lot of work, too. It’s definitely a much bigger house than we’ve got now. Not to mention a pool, a 3-car garage, and a basement big enough for me to have a real workshop with plenty of room to spare. The house sits on about an acre, surrounded by trees (can’t see the house from the road), with another heavily wooded three and a half acres that would be great for the dogs (it’s really all about the dogs). It’s all zoned agricultural, so I guess we can get goats and chickens. Maybe even an alpaca or two.
It would be about a half-hour commute for me, which would be fine. It’s not like I have to punch a clock.
Trying to figure out what to offer to make the work worthwhile.
Ungulate or two.
Watching the first season of Weeds on DVD.
Season one conquered. Now, I just need to find a good (or evil) deal on season two.
