So, looks like the Obama campaign is about to launch a little push back<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on Monday is launching a multimedia campaign to draw attention to the involvement of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Keating Five\u00e2\u20ac\u009d savings-and-loan scandal of 1989-91, which blemished McCain\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s public image and set him on his course as a self-styled reformer.<\/p>\n

Pushing back against what it calls McCain’s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153guilt-by-association\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tactics, the Obama campaign overnight began e-mailing millions of supporters a link to a website, KeatingEconomics.com, which will have a 13-minute documentary on the scandal beginning at noon Eastern time on Monday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I don’t know if this is a good idea or not. Not because it isn’t relevant to what’s going on these days, but because it may be a little too complication for “Joe Sixpack” to understand. You have to admit, “Obama hangs with terrorists” is a much simpler concept to grasp (and anybody with a brain already knows that McCain\/Palin is a disaster of biblical proportions – so to speak – in the making).<\/p>\n

To try and explain it all to the unwashed masses, the campaign has a website – KeatingEconomics.com<\/a> – which will have a 13-minute documentary on the scandal beginning at noon Eastern time today. <\/p>\n
