There&#8217;s quite a but of snow this morning &#8220;up north&#8221; as we say here (the dreaded &#8220;north of the Thruway&#8221;) &#8211; including 18 inches overnight up in Osceola, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rnntv.com\/Global\/story.asp?S=9358413&#038;nav=menu566_2\">which should help to curtail this sort of thing<\/a> &#8211; but, so far, nothing on the ground here.  That&#8217;s supposed to end later on, as the bands of lake effect snow drift south as the day rolls on, though we&#8217;re not really expected to get more than a dusting.  Personally, I like to see the snow.  It brightens everything up &#8211; which is nice, now that it gets dark at 5:00.   <\/p>\n<p>Yeah, I know.  When you start talking about the weather, it&#8217;s pretty much an admission that youhave nothing else to say.  Hell, whattya expect, it&#8217;s Monday.
