I guess it just doesn’t pay to pick the underdog this year. I hope that trend continues into today’s games – especially the one in Miami at 12:15 EDT. I want a drama (and overtime) free game. You never know with SU, though. I still vividly recall them being the first #2 seed to lose to a #15 (the Richmond Spiders, who I shall forever despise, but not nearly as much as I despise Keith Smart). We watched that game in the hospital while my mom was having a triple bypass. That open heart surgery for my mom would, ironically, be the beginning of the end for my dad. But, no time (or heart – so to speak) for a sad story this morning.

Speaking of sorrow, I’m very sad that tonight is the series finale of Battlestar Galactica, which bows out with a two hour ending. If you haven’t been watching this show from the beginning (particularly if it’s because you “don’t like” SciFi), you’ve really missed out. I only wish I could afford to buy all four seasons (plus this one) on Blu-Ray (of course, I can’t even afford a Blu-Ray player).

Also tonight, it’s Real Time with Bill Maher. This week’s guests (barring any changes, of course) are Madeleine Albright (aka, Vincent Gardenia in drag; who knew she worked as a pin-up model?), Keith Olbermann, Kerry Washington (most definitely not Vincent Gardenia in drag), Senator Boynie Sanders, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, of the NY Times and MSNBC, who I don’t really know, but, given the other guests, I’m assuming he’s the designated schmuck of the week (and given his “we gotta pay off the AIG execs with taxpayer money to preserve the ‘sanctity of contracts’” column, I appear to be correct).

Spring officially arrives today, so naturally it’s supposed to dip down into the teens tonight. Don’t forget to bring an egg to work.

President Obama went on Jay Leno last night.
