So, I’m looking at Huffington Post, and I see this headline: “Studio Chairman Dick Cook Out At Disney<\/a>,” and my first thought was, “they’re having a dick cook-out at Disney?” Ew. Dicks on the barbie. That makes for a pretty horrible mental image (even worse than the thought of a Dick Armey). Though I can image Larry Craig anxious to slip one into a bun. These Disney studio chairmen would clearly fit in with the boys guarding the US Embassy in Afghanistan. The other headline that stood out was “Insane Killer Escapes On Field Trip To County Fair<\/a>.” Insane killers get to go on field trips? Clearly, I’m doing something wrong here.<\/p>\n

Speaking of doing something wrong, I find the damn “command” key to be too close to the ‘x,’ ‘c,’ and ‘v’ keys, making it very uncomfortable to do copy, cut, and paste. Yeah, there’s another one over on the right side, but, really why use two hands when one should suffice (just ask the US Embassy dudes). Oh, it’s easy enough to change, I reckon, but I’m trying to be assimilated. <\/p>\n

Later tonight, SU continues its quest for the first win of the season as it faces Northwester – its third Big Ten opponent in a row. With fairly decent showings in the first two games, we have high hopes of an upset. For one thing, we’re only 3 point underdogs, which, between the fact that Northwestern stomped us last year and our extremely anemic offense, is a bit of a surprise. I really ought to be showing my loyalty by attending the game, but, well, it’s at 7:00, meaning I’d be out past my bedtime. Plus decent seats (though abundantly available) are too damn expensive. After all, I have a Macbook Pro to save up for.<\/p>\n
