I ordered a little USB TV tuner\/mpeg-2 encoder so I can watch TV on my laptop, and I set up a VPN so I can connect to my home network from the Internet (which will allow me to access all my files, get the e-mail off the mail server I run, and &#8211; I hope &#8211; download the season finale of the Sporanos on June 4th from my ReplayTV, though it&#8217;ll take a while with my asynchronous cable connection; I wish I&#8217;d gone for the FiOS, with 2 Mbps upstream).<\/p>\n<p>I checked my freezer and (unlike <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2006\/POLITICS\/05\/22\/jefferson\/index.html\">William Jefferson<\/a>) since I didn&#8217;t find $90 grand in there, I guess I&#8217;d better get ready to get ready to get going.
