I have a playdate after work tonight, as I get to tag along at the Smithsonian Designer&#8217;s Group inaugural unofficial meeting at Fado&#8217;s Irish Pub.  SInce nobody knows me, I can pretend that I actually know stuff, while hopefully not trying to prove how Irish I am by getting all sloppy drunk, droping my dice in puke, and cleaning them off by putting them in my mouth.  I&#8217;ll have to wait &#8217;til I get &#8220;home&#8221; to do that.  Well, time to go check out last night&#8217;s election results, to see if Busby mananged a win, and if Marcy Winograd managed to beat Jane Harman in the primary.  Then I&#8217;ll try and figure out why you&#8217;d want to remake a movie directed by Richard Donner and starring Gregory Peck, David Warner, and Lee Remick.  59 to go.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey, Happy Hump Day.
