{"id":3261,"date":"2010-05-13T06:45:59","date_gmt":"2010-05-13T10:45:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/morningseditionists.com\/msblog\/?p=3261"},"modified":"2010-05-13T06:45:59","modified_gmt":"2010-05-13T10:45:59","slug":"thursday-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morningseditionists.com\/msblog2\/2010\/05\/13\/thursday-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First it was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/id\/237110\">Roger Ebert<\/a>, and now it&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2010\/05\/12\/francis-ford-coppola-3d-i_n_573858.html\">Francis Ford Coppola<\/a> saying that 3D is a bullshit waste of money.  I find it hard to disagree, and it sort of feels like they&#8217;re trying to shove 3D movies and TV down our throats whether we want it or not.  Then again, I wonder how many people thought color was just a fad, nobody would actually want to hear the actors speak, and teevee was just a curiosity that would never surpass radio.  Yet, here we are.<\/p>\n<p>The President heads to Buffalo today, to do, um, something or other.  Maybe he&#8217;ll take the girls to Niagara Falls (travel tip: the Canadian side is much better, and, while you&#8217;re there, why not check out the Love Canal to see how the Gulf Coast will turn out, and then have a date night with Michelle at the King Edward?).  <\/p>\n<p>My one word of advice is to not meet with our Governor while you&#8217;re in the State.  He&#8217;s not real popular these days.  But then you didn&#8217;t want him to run for reelection either, so I guess you know that.<\/p>\n<p>As for me, it&#8217;s off to work again, and then I&#8217;m being forced to go to an acupuncturist.
