Weekend’s here! Ah, so much to do, so little motivation. XM’s “Deep Cuts” channel is currently playing the “Deep Tracks Essential 5002” in alphabetical order. They’re finishing up “G” early this morning. Last night, I caught (among many other things) a killer live version (21 minutes worth) of Rare Earth doing “Get Ready” and the California Guitar Trio doing “Ghost Riders on the Storm” – an acoustic guitar fusion of “Ghost Riders in the Sky” and “Riders on the Storm,” and a great live version of “Gimmee Shelter.” Really hit my “G” spot. <\/p>\n
