So, Obamacare goes to the Supreme Court this week, starting today, when I believe they’ll take up the issue of whether or not the “fee” for not having insurance is actually a tax. If it’s a tax, they effectively punt the ball until 2015 or something, because you can’t question the constitutionality of a tax until it’s actually been levied. Or so the pinkos at NPR tell me, anyway. They make a big deal out of the dog and pony oral arguments show, but I find it hard to believe any of it actually matters, and that they don’t already have their minds made up. But maybe I’m wrong.<\/p>\n
Otherwise, it’s just your basic Monday. Winter is back, and it’s not supposed to get out of the 30s today, with a hard freeze tonight. Hopefully that’ll kill some of the bugs. <\/p>\n
I’ve basically been in a self-imposed news blackout since Saturday night, so I don’t know what else is going on out there in the world. Not that I need to know.<\/p>\n
