Finally, it’s Saturday. Weekends are too damn short, but I really need this one to unwind and try and get my shit together. It’s supposed to be nice and cool here today, with maybe a little rain. That sounds pretty good to me. Maybe I’ll even go back to bed.<\/p>\n
Later, of course, two of my former schools “clash” on the gridiron. Yes, it’s the heavily anticipated Buffalo vs. Syracuse football game. I have a friend – a fellow ex-projectionist and SU alum (he was even a member of the SU basketball pep band known as the Sour Citrus Society) – who’s supposed to be in town today, and wants to catch the game. I don’t know how to tell him I really, really don’t wanna spend $35 to watch – at best – a boring game. And at worst, SU actually losing to Buffalo, which is a disgustingly real possibility this year. <\/p>\n
