I have to be honest, Christmas isn&#8217;t a big deal to me anymore.  It hasn&#8217;t been in quite a while.  Probably since my dad died. <strong><em>Definitely<\/em><\/strong> since my mom&#8217;s been gone (she <strong><em>insisted<\/em><\/strong> that holidays be observed; poor mom, she wanted a Donna Reed world, but was stuck with a bunch of ungrateful heathen kids).  But once today is over, I have a five-day weekend coming up, and I need it, bad.  Even better, that&#8217;s followed by a two-day week, and then a four-day weekend.
