I haven’t got anything much to say this morning. Still trying to figure out who I’m supposed to hope wins the Democratic nomination. I guess to a large extent, I don’t much care. I can always say, “don’t blame me, I voted for Edwards.” Never mind who I think would actually be a better president amongst the “other two.” I have a hard time believing that Hillary could win. The Republicans despise her, and the Democrats who don’t love her, hate her, too. My mother-in-law still hates her for the cookie baking remark. I’m sure there are a lot of racists who would never vote for Obama, but he seems to be pretty non-threatening to most of white America, so I reckon he’s probably a safer bet than Hillary. I just hope all these people who keep expressing their confidence that he’ll “change” everything are right (whatever they mean, exactly, by that).<\/p>\n
