When I was putting my beverages away, I found a beer mug in the refrigerator filled with friggin&#8217; asparagus.  Not one of the cheap thin-glass beer mugs we have, and not the one with the crack in it (they&#8217;re in the cupboard, decidedly devoid of asparagus).  No, this is one of the seven mugs that I like to keep in the freezer at all times.  One of my few indulgences. What can I say?  I like a frosty beer mug.  And, frankly, I don&#8217;t particularly like asparagus (I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s terrible, mind you, but if I had to choose between a frozen beer mug and fucking asparagus, asparagus loses every time).<\/p>\n<p>But, hey, I&#8217;m not one to complain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, I went out to get a six pack of some refreshing beverages last night.
