Nice to hear Marc on the radio again last night (didn&#8217;t get much of it before sleepy-time; good thing there&#8217;s the podcast to listen to today).  I kept thinking he&#8217;d be preempted by a Clippers game or something.<\/p>\n<p>Last day of this week in my preferred location before I head back to end the week in my shithole (not that it&#8217;s all that bad; it&#8217;s actually kind of a nice office, though I have to share it).  One of these days, maybe they&#8217;ll make me permanent.  Everybody seems to agree they want me there permanently; they just can&#8217;t seem to make it happen yet (&#8220;be patient&#8221;).  <\/p>\n<p>Oh well, there&#8217;s always the lottery I guess.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not much to say this morning.
