Hey, folks, Hope all is well with all. I am adjusting to having time. Time to work on my standup, to think, to be creative for myself, and to be relieved, on some level, to not have to deal with AAR. I am relieved to know what is going on with my life, finally. I do miss doing the show. I miss all of you people. I miss the creative energy of all the artists I was working with. I miss talking about the issues and talking to my guests on a daily basis. I’m looking at a lot of different options for the future. I’ll keep you all posted. In the meantime I’m going to write, perform, play guitar, sit around and think, watch my cats, dig my wife, get ready for the Comedy Central Special, enjoy doing comedy again and living my life without the burden of wondering how AAR is going to disrupt it or make me anxious and irritated.

I’m happy for you that the ever-present AAR anxiety is gone; you dealt with that crap for almost a year, and believe me, I know that waiting for an axe to fall is no fun. And while most of us selfishly wish you’d taken the AAR offer, we understand why you didn’t.
My guess is that having some downtime will recharge your jets, and hopefully the added exposure from AAR will kickstart wherever your career is going next.
But we still miss you. :-(:-(:-(:-(:-(
This morning I watched the bit from the last time you were on Conan; it’s on YouTube. No matter how many times I watch that, it’s still funny.

I guess its redundant to say that you are sorely missed, but, oh well….
Will and I have been listening to old clips and they hold up perfectly…even the news is sorta scarily almost the same….your old outdated material and interviews are worlds better than what is on AAR currently…, so here we are. Good thing I bought the big ipod that will hold all the old MS’s, clips, and TMMS!
The east coasters here…hopefully a bunch of us together or all spread out… are gonna come and see you at Gotham…and we are all hoping to hear some good news soon about you hopefully getting on air somewhere regularly….maybe a podcast here and there would be possible until then…?
Tell Jim that we all say hey…and that we miss him too. The NY Times this past Sunday had a nice article on fry oil cars, and I thought of him. Oh, how I wish that Sammy could comment on the shrubs newest assault on science! I wish you could comment on all of this!
