I don’t have much time but I just wanted to drop you all a dispatch. I will be on Conan O’Brien tonight, the 18th. (I just found out yesterday so I’m not holding out on you.) They flew me to NYC this morning.
“The Marc Maron Show” will launch from Los Angeles on the 13th of February. I’ll let you know how you can get it as we get closer to the date. My CD should be out in a matter of days. The cats are starting to like each other and my wife and I are getting along.

I spent the whole afternoon setting up the replay radio…there was some problem with my soundcard but apparently not that big of a problem because it could record Al Franken just fine!
Now IM gonna try to set things to record this Conan!!
I hope we get some details on the show soon.
I’m so MFing happy I’m resolving right now to clean my house and fling ALL my old business files in the time between now and then!
Everyone remind me!! So I can have an empty house to turn on the radio/computer to hear the FUNNY again!
P.S. Yes, i agree that this kind of fighting spirit is exactly what kept interest in Maron up, his and ours, and it will open the door to more talent in the future. Let’s not forget it was the great Lizz Winstead who put Marc and Mark together and also got Rachel into the mix. So the circle will continue.

That’s my plan, Jason. I have the ReplayTV set, so, assuming nothing goes wrong, I’ll transfer it over to one of my computers and edit the Marc part out, and put it up.
I hope the previous format was OK for everybody. The DVR outputs in mpeg-2, but I can cut the file size down by almost 67% by using DivX with not much loss of quality. Remember, it’s regular TV resolution (not HD), so it doesn’t look as good (or as big) on a computer as does on the TeeVee.
Anyhow, I’ll pop it up there some time tomorrow – probably later rather than sooner; I think my wife is gonna make me go to the dump – if all goes well.
Oh, BTW, I put up a page (it’s linked over ther on the right under Morning Seditionists, called Seditionists Unite!) it y’all wanna start brainstorming about organizing some get togethers.

didnt any of you watch the fricking show i want to hear about it come on people anyway just listened to a speech from john sweeney president of the afl-cio and i started tearing up i used to be in the teamsters and am an avid union supporter and uh why cant our politicians have the balls to put forth the legislation that unions support raise the minimum wage universal healthcare and bankruptcy reform where its really needed

seanms, I guess I was waiting for other people to post. I’ve been posting alot lately. Marc was introduced as the host of a new Air America Radio show debuting Feb 13. When he came out he pretended to trip (a la chevy chase) because the guest before him had really tripped. Conan commented on his beard and he did his bit about wanting to go to a mall and pretend he was Jesus at Christmastime. He also told the story of his wife wanting to buy a gun. But, he added that he felt if she bought a gun then he should have one and they could face off over domestic disputes. He did talk about buying a car, pulling over to use the pay phone when his cell phoned konked out, putting in a quarter and it going straight through, so he had the dilemma of putting his finger in to get the quarter. He went on about who had put their finger in the change slot (although he described it differently) and then trying not to put that finger in his eye. I thought it was very funny. I thought he looked tired almost drained. I can’t wait to have him back on the air.

Damn, It’s as if I’ve been holding my breath for a friggen month. The audience and Conan got into it big time. It’s not just us, fellow Seditionistas. The guy is just in need of exposure in the right venues. Like when the tennis ball hits the sweet spot on the racket, it just sounds right.
