Great, here comes another week.  I certainly hope this one continues where the last one left off, at least as far as Greedy Old Perverts go.  It was kinda fun to watch them fall all over each other this weekend, trying to get their stories straight.  Otherwise, I guess I’d better get a move on.  Lots to do today (for a change), and the dog isn’t very happy with me, since he didn’t get to go anywhere yesterday.  See ya

Booblehead Thread

Well, what wonders do they have in store for us on this, the first Booblehead Sunday of October?

First up, on Press the Meat, Timmy Potatohead has a debate between Ohio scumbag Mike DeWine, and his challenger, Sherrod Brown. My advice to Brown? Dangle a 16 year old boy over the table, and watch Timmuh and Mikey fight over him.

Over at Faze the Nation, bush buddy Bobby Schieffer hosts a real Sunday snoozefest between Senator MBNA, Joe Biden, and Bush “counselor” Dan Bartlett.

Over at Fux News, Weaselface Wallace hosts Michael Scheuer, former chief of the CIA’s bin Laden Unit and Dan Benjamin, former NSC member under Pres. Clinton. Let me guess – it’s all Clinton’s fault.

Over at CNN’s Late Emission, the Wolfman asks the question, “did the Bush administration turn a deaf ear to warnings about the Iraqi insurgency?” And, in order to get an honest, objective answer, he goes to (who else) White House Counselor Dan Bartlett. Plus, the disturbingly named Dick Lugar (I think he’s packin’), and CT’s Democratic Senator, Chris Dodd. As if that wasn’t already more excitement than you can handle, Wolfie also welcomes the US ambassador to Iraq, Zalmay Khalilzad, former National Security Adviser (and a man who desperately needs to buy an “O”) Zbigniew Brzezinski, and war criminal/dubya Iraq adviser, Henry Kissinger (his puss must haunt Jill St. John’s nightmares).

If you weren’t boycotting the Goebells Broadcasting Network, you could tune in to This Weak with George Snufalufagus to see, well, gosh, once again, it’s Dan Bartlett, giving us the unvarnished truth about Iraq. Plus, it’s John Murtha, and yet another exciting roundtable, with George :jerk: Will, former Pentagon spokesbitch Tori Clarke, ABC’s resident political hack, Mark “the Snark” Halperin, and architect of the brilliant Al Gore 2000 campaign, Donna Brazile. Plus, US Poet Laureate Donald Hall unveils his first work as the nation’s poet:

There was a Republican from Florida,
Who met a young boy in the corridor.
He pulled down his pants,
And effected a stance
Where he was the bull, and the lad, an unwitting toreador

Later, on 60 Minutes, Bob Woodward sits down with Mike Wallace to plug his book, State of Denial. Not sure if Woodward woke up one day and realized he’d become a pitiful hack or what, but my guess is that the former darling of the Bush White House will suddenly find himself persona non grata. Or maybe he’s still a hack, but released a couple of “hard-hitting” quotes from his book in an attempt to boost sales. Beats me, but if I was Woodward, I’d ask Mike how it feels to have spawned that evil, fuckfaced, Fox whore creep of a son. Ed Bradley does a story on “bum hunting,” (apparently this is a new sport, popular amongst the “future of America”) that looks to be truly disturbing. But, frankly, what would you expect in a nation where torture is legal, protected – and even admired? And finally, Lesley Stahl looks at a new technique for stimulating “Area 25” of the brain with electrodes, in an effort to help the severely clinically depressed. Looking at Lesley’s hair, I get the feeling she tried this out personally. :omg:
Enjoy your Sunday.
