Happy fifth of May. You know, turns out gas in Kingston is about $1.18 a liter. That works out to about $4.50 a gallon when you figure in the fact that the Canadian Loonie is worth $1.02 US (used to be you got a break when you went up there; not anymore – thanks Dubya). So, I guess I should feel grateful that gas here is ‘only’ $3.75. And that I have a job to pay for it. Too bad it’s just to goddamn Monday.
There’s just too many mother uckers out there.
It’s Late …. WAKE UP :pirate: :yippee: … :tap: ..OMEGA for some & ALPHA for others :fist: A!I! :dancers:
Welcome home, RG and PJ.
Gotta go to work, but I’m looking forward to Sam at 3.
Have a good one.
I don’t know what to believe…

Hi Folks!
First, thanks to all of you who signed the petition on my behalf for a 5 day a week show on Air America. And Thanks to Robert Greenwald at Brave New Films for setting the whole thing up. More than six thousand of you signed and it is very gratifying. I hope it works.
And to that end, I will be guest hosting Air America 3-6pm on Monday and Wednesday, May 5th and 7th. On Friday May 9th, Marc Maron and I will be hosting the 3-6pm slot together…. taking our now, nearly famous MARON v.SEDER show from the SammyCam to the airwaves.
You can listen live here or watch live here.
Also, it looks like SEDER ON SUNDAYS on Air America is coming to an end. My contract is up in mid- May. So be sure to check out the last couple of shows on Sunday 4-7pm.
I’m not sure where I will end up over the next four weeks, but you and I have seen this movie play out before and I’ll keep you all updated.
[The Seder Reader 2008] High Noon in Sederville
Hey, anybody know of an affiliate that streams America Afternoons or whatever they call it from 3 – 6 these days? My ReplayRadio doesn’t seem to be able to grab the .swf that they use for their live stream these days.
Damn, another lousy monday. But it won’t be as lousy as last monday when I had an emergency angioplasty with two stents put in…., now that was a lousy monday 😯
 Sue, thank you regarding Diamond, my Dear Gem.
The last time I tried the AAR stream, it was spitting out two shows at once, with about a five-second delay between the two, which is annoying beyond belief to try to listen to. Last week I ended up listening to the Young Turks, believe it or not.
I’m trying the AAR stream again this afternoon, but I have backup CDs at the ready just in case.
Art! Damn. That was a lousy Monday. Glad to hear things are a bit better this week.
Well, my economic stimulus just went into repairing my van. Too bad there isn’t anything left to fill up the gas tank.
Is marc still guest-hosting by himself a couple of days?
Supposed to be on solo Tues and
WedThurs. The note from Sam (re#3 )sez sam will be hosting tues and wed.
I guess I’m happy that MvS will be on the airwaves (such as they are) of AAR but I’ll miss all the :fu: :fu: from marc.
I meant Tues and Thurs, not Wed.
The only station that I think caries the show is WWRL and they have a stream. I don’t think there are any podcast available outside of AAR pay version. I looked at a few of the usual suspects.
Wow, that WWRL has quite the compelling lineup.
I have no stations I can listen to … sniff … 😥
…well back to 🙄 whatever… :tap: A!I!
I thought the justice department was bad!
Everyone knows Rinehart, who was born and raised in the area and runs one of Eagleville’s few surviving businesses. The stranger came up to the counter and asked for him by name.
“Well, that’s me,†said Rinehart.
As Rinehart would recall, the man began verbally attacking him, saying he had proof that Rinehart had planted Monsanto’s genetically modified (G.M.) soybeans in violation of the company’s patent. Better come clean and settle with Monsanto, Rinehart says the man told him—or face the consequences.
I was organically growing some from Territorial Seeds: Some Heritage Seeds and some were hybrid and saw from afar the “hording” of certain seeds … when I do my wee growing now … I try only Heritage-type of seed.
This is where confusion sets in… hybrid is suppose to be stronger seed with worm and bug deterrent but Natural Seed is not as PRETTY & PERFECT but TASTES BETTER *** BY FAR!
… and one learns the beauty of “collecting” next years or the next year after that…. NATURAL SEED. …. A!I!
Hello Blogerren,
You can catch Seder and Maron filling in Randi’s old AAR spot on
my local station, The Mic 92.1 in Madison, at

Yep, I’m starting my organinc garden, too. Instead of digging up the sod, I’m trying to see what laying down newspapers will do for me. It’s gotten good results for others, wish me luck. Will anyone be getting some illicit podcasts for Marc this week? I’ll be listening tomorrow, but I won’t be able to hear the show or stream it the rest of the week.
I hate my job, too.
Artnorton, glad to hear that this Monday is better than the last, as the last sounds very scary. How are you doing?
Thanks Sue. Back to normal today (normal means back to work) 🙁 I had a hard time believing it was happening to me the first couple of days- just wanted everything to be back where it was before. Then a couple of days I slept better than I have in months, felt like my brain was working 100% for the first time in awhile. Then as going back to work approached…… 😐 but….,
It’s always good to be alive.
I’ve been able ,as a subsciber to rachel only, to download ‘american afternoon’ but now aar wants me to upgrade to I can listen to sam and marc. Any other way to get a download anywhere?
Man, this is really bad.

And McCain doesn’t think veterans need any more benefits than the thank you letter Bush gives out.
I guess I’m happy that MvS will be on the airwaves (such as they are) of AAR but I’ll miss all the :fu: :fu: from marc.
