It’s special election day down in Alabama, and by the end of the day I predict we’ll have a fitting replacement for Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III in the United States Senate. Although polling suggests a tight race, I predict that when all is said and done Roy “Grandpa” Moore and his micropistol will wind up with an easy win.
Because, hey, it’s Alabama where the popular sentiment is pretty much, “hey, my cousin was only 14 when I married her, so what’s the big deal?” And we don’t want the goddamn godless liberals and lyin’ media telling us who to vote for, now do we? So congrats to Roy and the rest of good old boys (and the women girls who love them) down there in the Heart of Dixie.
This one’s for you.
I was in a big Zevon mood last night.
Well , surprise, surprise, surprise. Jones beat Moore. And Moore’s being a sore loser.
Looks like winter is finally here. Well, it’s been here since Sunday, but it’s even more here today.
What a great surprise. Not only did Jones win but Bannon and Trump lost. Perhaps there is hope though Canada is still there in case Trump does too much more damage. I am still amazed by the tax bill which seems to hurt everyone but the rich. The congressional Republicans have convinced themselves that Americans want them to pass something and are not interested in the what the actual something they pass is.
OK, I know frisco lost its mayor who I hold accountable for me and thousands having to leave. While Dan White started the process with a gun, the late mayor managed the coup de grĂ¢ce without a bullet. Sorry.
I will miss Smithereen front man Pat DiNizio who just passed.
Thank goodness all those tech million and billionaires that helped make affordable living in the area all but impossible are gonna get nice tax cuts. Imagine all the great Starbucks jobs they’ll create.
Hey, long-time-no-see. I’ve been well, I suppose. Well, other than being under the heavy thumb of the CIA and some ridiculous operators. Thanks for giving a shit — not that you cared, or anything.

Neat to see Louis Prima doing a David Lee Roth cover.
