This will be interesting. There’s a Clipper’s game tonight, starting at 7:30, Pacific time. Last game ended right at show time, but they had another 50 minutes in postgame caca. So, I guess we’ll find out whether the Marc Maron Show gets delayed, and we get to hear the whole two hours, or if we’ll just join the show “in progress.” If you’re recording the show, better allow for an extra hour (or more) . Just pray there’s no OT.

the last game of the regular season is april 19. until then the clippers play two weekday games per week and one weekend game. most of the games start at 7 pm, but some begin at 6 or 5 pm pacific time.

Walnut and Poppy Seed Rolls
Ingredients for batter
400 g/14 oz. flour, 150 g/5 oz. butter, 15 g/half oz. yeast, 1 tablespoon of milk, pinch of salt, 100 ml/4 fl. oz. sour cream
Ingredients for walnut filling
150 g/5 oz. sugar, 2-3 tablespoon of milk, 200 g/7 oz. ground walnuts, 80 g/3 oz. chopped sultanas, 2 tablespoon of apricot or apple jam, 1-2 peeled and grated apples, grated lemon peel
Ingredients for poppy seed filling
200 g/7 oz. ground poppy seeds, 150 g/5 oz. sugar, 100-200 ml/4-8 fl. oz. milk, 80-100 g/ 3-4 oz. sultanas, grated apple jam or 1-2 peeled and grated apples
Preparation
Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk. Rub in the butter into the sieved flour and salt. Add the sour cream. Knead well. Divide the dough into two and leave to rest for 15 minutes. Roll out into fairly thin squares and spread one with walnut filling and the other with poppy seed. To make the walnut filling, make syrup with milk and sugar. Then add the ground walnut and the remaining ingredients. For the poppy seed filling, make syrup with sugar and milk. Then add the ground poppy seed and cook for few minutes. Remove from the heat and mix in the remaining ingredients. After spreading the dough with fillings, roll up and leave to rest for 10 minutes. Brush with egg yolk and prick with fork. Place on a baking tin and leave for another 10 minutes. Brush again with yolks and bake in a moderately hot oven until golden brown.

Here’s what I’m eating:
Salad Wrap with Jicama, Dates, and Corn
Ingredients
* 1 whole wheat tortilla
* 1-2 tbsp. sweet corn, off the cob
* 1-2 tbsp. dried dates
* A few cherry or grape tomatoes, diced
* Large handful mixed baby greens
* 1-2 tbsp. your favorite fruity vinaigrette
* 1-2 tbsp. jicama, julienne (optional)
* 2-3 strawberries, sliced (optional)
* 1-2 tbsp. sunflower seeds (optional)
* 1-2 slices havarti cheese (optional)
Assemble all ingredients on top of the tortilla. Fold in the sides and then roll the tortilla into a wrap.

Yes. Unfortunately AAR is not bothered about streaming Marc. Its only available on the KTLK stream here http://ccri.eonstreams.com/ccri_ca_losangeles_ktlk_am.asf. It was delayed due to a post match shit of the Clipper’s game but the upside was we got more than 2 hours of Marc. And man he was great and looks like every show will be better than the previous one.
