The final Morning Sedition aired on this date, one year ago.  A very sad day, indeed.  But, we get an extra holiday present, with a week’s worth of Marc and many of the surviving cast of characters on the Sam Seder show.  Should be fun; I know I’m looking forward to it.

Sorry I missed the first day of Chanukah yesterday (tell you the truth, I have to look online just to figure out what day of the week it is; I’m still having a hard time believing that Thanksgiving is over already), but let me say Chappy Chanukah to all. :menorah: Also, here’s to a safe trip, and an enjoyable vacation for Will and Melina in Cancun.  Of course, we expect pictures when you get back (bikinis would be nice).

Otherwise, just a little bit left for me to do, and then I intend to take a week-long nap.  Maybe two weeks.  Wake me when it’s New Years.

So, the conclusion of the three-part Sci-Fi Channel mini-series, “The Lost Room,” starring Peter Krause aired on Wednesday.

That very day, Tim Johnson was found to have AVM.

Peter Krause played Nate Fisher on Six Feet Under. Nate also had AVM.

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

It’s Friday the 15th – be careful out there.

Like everybody else, I’m still trying to plug away here.  It would be great if I could really get my shit together, and finish up early.  Later.

Wednesday again? Well, Wednesday’s still suck, but at least I don;t have to leave the house. Been spending pretty much all my time in the chair trying to get this crap finished up, so I really haven’t had a chance to look at much of anything else. Plus, my back is killing me. I can’t wait to get this over with. I have until midnight to finish up the second of three things, and then until 4:00 Sunday afternoon to finish the last one, which I can’t even think about until I get this one over with. See ya.

Update:  In memory of Peter Boyle.  1935 – 2006

Well, it’s Tuesday, which means we have to decide whether to watch I Dream of Jeannie or The Mod Squad at 7:30 tonight.  Of course, Red Skelton at 8:30 is a no-brainer (though I like Julia, too).  As long As I can manage to stay up late enough to watch Marcus Welby at 10:00.  Oh, wait.  It isn’t 1969, is it?  Bummer.

Hey, if you’re out there in the LA area, you can head over to Hollywood to see Marc at the Comedy Central Stage on Santa Monica Blvd tonight.  Tell him we say hello.  Have a good Monday.

No time for anything fancy today….

On Press the Meat, Timmy Potatohead hosts the Co-Chairs of the Iraq Study Group, James Baker & Lee Hamilton. Then, Ken Adelman, Eliot Cohen, Richard Haass, Tom Ricks weigh in on the report and its repercussions on U.S. involvement in Iraq & the Middle East.

Then Baker and Hamilton take the show over to Faze the Nation on CBS. Also on are Carl Levin, and Senator Brylcreem, Trent Lott.

Next, the Baker and Hamilton show moves over to Fux News Sunday with Weaselface Wallace.

Over at Goebbels, George Snufalufagus does a one-on-one with Tony Blair and then Senator MBNA, Joe Biden, and Oregons’s Gordon Smith talk about the ISR report. Over at the roundtable, it’s George :jerk: Will (Jim Webb ought to smack him one), Cokie “The Hag” Roberts, Sam :omg: Donaldson Fareed “Token” Zakaria. Finally, Ed Asner is on. I like Ed, but he’s not worth ending the boycott for.

Wolf Blitzer’s Late Emission has Act IV of the Baker/Hamilton show, plus Jane Harman, Chris Shays, Abdul Aziz al-Hakim, who is leader of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution of Iraq (not only do they have a website, but you can go and sign their guestbook, which isn’t really a guestbook, so much as a feedback form), Shimon Peres, Bobby Woodward, and NYT Baghdad bureau chief, John Burns.

Later, on 60 Minutes, Anderson Cooper makes his debut with a story about Abu Ghraib whistleblower Joe Darby. Also, Steve Kroft reports on the influence the mafia still has in Italy and talks about the arrest of a real-life Godfather, Scott Pelley discusses the popularity in the United States of “mixed martial arts,” and Andy Rooney will find something to whine about.

Season finale of The Wire tonight, and I haven’t even gotten the chance to watch last week’s yet. Have a good one.

I know it’s Saturday, but that’s about all I know, since I haven’t had much chance to pay attention to the news.  Things won’t bet getting any better for a while, either.

It’s Friday. That means I’ve only got a few more hours to get my shit together, so I can relax for an hour or two.  Carry on.

The attack on Pearl Harbor, which brought the US into the Second World War, took place sixty-five years ago today.  It’s also the birthday of Eli Wallach (1915), Noam Chomsky (1928), Harry Chapin (1942), and Tom Waits (1949).  That’s about all I got.
