Yep, lots of glorious sunlight for my five minute commute in to work, then lots of sunshine that I can’t see ‘cuz I don’t have a window all day long while I’m at work, and then darkness when I get out of work. At least for about a month, at which point it’ll be dark when I go in to work, and dark long before I get out.
It’s good, ‘cuz I at least like to wait until it gets dark before I start drinking, so now I can start crackin’ ’em open as soon as I get home. Or maybe even put a cooler in my trunk.

Meanwhile in the City, Bloomberg is filling the airwaves and my mailbox with ads that appear to be from Thompson, but are negative attacks on him. Worse, Bloomy’s not fudging the facts, he’s just lying. He said that when Thompson was Bd of Ed president student scores went down and down. In fact they went up.
They always go up, it’s just the students who don’t change.
It’s gonna be horrible if Hoffman wins. A validation for the wingnuts.
A real sign of how on the fringe they are if Owens wins – it would mean that North Country NY Republicans reject the Palin/Bachman/fringe idiot nutcases.
I really hope Hoffman goes down. He isn’t from the district, doesn’t live there now, and doesn’t understand the issues that are important to the North Country. He doesn’t deserve to represent the people of the 23rd.
I have one more day of handing out flyers and then it’s up to the voters. It’s been a long six months.
